I was just the beginner when I went to Karin's yoga retreat. I was a bit worried that how do I keep up with others, but it was very easy to follow.
The retreat was a bit challenging physically at first but there is good thing about yoga that you can do it according to your strength.
Morning practices were more intensive than evening classes. What I liked the most about the retreat was that it was a mix of yoga philosophy, physical practice and meditation.
Overall it was challenging, interesting and very nice experience.
I would definitely recommend Karin's yoga classes / retreat. I've been doing yoga with different teachers, but Karin's classes are on a different level.

Karin is a gifted yoga teacher who brings out the best in your yoga practice. Classes are fresh and interesting engaging you physically and mentally. Her teaching is enriched by what she has learned on her yoga journey. Her voice and reflections stay with you. Your practice is challenged, but also supported. I feel stronger both mentally and physically from my practice.
As much as I enjoy and look forward to Karin's classes I was a bit unsure of a full week retreat. My husband a relative yoga novice quickly agreed to join me especially since it was in Ibiza!
The retreat was both amazing and lovely.Yoga that worked for everyone. A positive vibe and everyone so engaged and happy! I enjoyed having the time to explore meditation techniques, healthy eating, the relaxed atmosphere of the villa, and some me time. Karin took care of it all thought and gently helped us all find what we needed. Brilliant!
I first took a Karin Lilleberg class on her Yoga retreat this summer in Ibiza. I am fairly novice at Yoga practise but Karin is so clear in her instruction to members of the class of all abilities that it flows without a hitch. Through practising yoga with Karin I have increased my flexibility, strength and most of all benefitted from the chance to be still, to think and not think!
The retreat was both beneficial to mind and body and the friendships made during the week remain very special. I can’t say that I wasn’t a little dubious when I signed up for the retreat expecting that I may be required to join the “hair shirt’ brigade……not at all! The atmosphere was fun and the yoga serious.
I would 100% recommend Karin’s retreat and fully intend to go again next year. I have already recommended Karin and her retreats to friends and will continue to do so.
Having never been to Ibiza and practicing yoga infrequently at best, I was deservedly apprehensive prior to my maiden retreat. My fears were immediately put to rest by Karin's calm personality and remarkable attention to detail. Karin managed to combine two ninety-minute daily yoga sessions with superb food and numerous extra-curricular activities optionally available to all. The yoga itself was a pleasing mixture of a daily message and a further explanation of familiar yoga poses. Our group's varied skillset from complete novice to experienced practitioner never became an issue as Karin was able to modify the approach for different levels. Every aspect of this retreat far exceeded my expectations. As a group, we have met several times since and I suspect that all will go for following years as well. Thank you
Karin introduced me to a style of yoga I could relate to. Dynamic, challenging, and full of warmth, Karin’s classes push me to discover new depths in my practice and connections to myself. Karin’s teaching style is precise and pacy, so I never have the chance to let my mind wander. A full hour and a half of concentration on my mat with Karin does wonders for calming my mind and giving me a sense of unparalleled wellbeing.
Ibiza isn’t usually known for its healing properties, but our retreat, in beautiful and peaceful surroundings, was the perfect escape from a hectic day-to-day existence. One of the most surprising and enjoyable features of the retreat was the international nature of the group - we Brits were in the minority, and the diverse nature of the group made for a very happy atmosphere and enlightening conversations, both on the mat, at dinner times and during our free afternoons.
The biggest hurdle I overcame in signing up for the retreat was the idea of spending an entire week in an intimate setting with a number of strangers. However, within a day of arriving on the retreat, our group had started to make very special friendships. These bonds have continued for months after our return from Ibiza and these beautiful, supportive connections have helped me to make sense of further changes in my life since the retreat. I recommend Karin’s yoga to all my friends, although for absolute beginners I do stress that it is a physically challenging class.
